The work Still Life with Hands (Will you still love me?) discusses the desire to recreate and relive a close relationship that has ended. Through repeated attempts to cast the own hands in the same position as the hands in a photograph of a now-deceased relative, the hope is to continue the relationship,
even if it is transforming. The repetition in itself becomes a manifestation of love. The work examines the grief of losing someone and how the love for this person lives on and expresses itself after the relationship has ceased.
